Honest Soundz Bio:
Honest Soundz started in 2013 as a platform for music producers, Michelle (ProdByMichelle) and Dev (Mindz Alike) to collaborate and release music. Since then, the pair has progressed
into having several releases including many self-released singles, an EP and compilation mix. The pair
have also hosted events – The Moonlight Groove EP Launch Party and the Honest Soundz Events:
Beat Battle
The name Honest Soundz represents honesty to one’s self when creating music. Music should be a
representation of who the artist is and music creators should stay true to themselves and produce
art that characterises them. When creating music Michelle and Dev never want to fall into the trap
of making what is expected of them and only what they are honestly feeling in the moment.
